Tournament Results

The Bulls/Easton of North Charleston won the Sport Authority Mid-Summer Classic C/D Division held in Charleston June 4-6, 1999. The Bulls went were 9-1 for the tournament, defeating The Slammers in back to back championship games, 25-8, and 22-11. Team leaders for the Bulls were Timmy Hopkins (29-29, .774), Brian Watson (25-34, .735), Steve West (8-11, .727), and Stacy Burnett (24-34, .706). The overall team batting average for the tournament was 227-363, .706). The Bulls' Brian Watson received the tournament MVP and was awarded a fielding glove.

The Charleston Stars won the E Division championship. More details expected.

In the Women's Division, the Amatuers of Charleston won the championship, defeated runners-up Double Trouble of Charleston, and 3rd place Tigerettes of Walterboro.

The home run hitting contest was divided into two divisions, the 215 lbs. & Under and  the Over 215 lbs. Timmy Hopkins of the Bulls/Easton won the 215 lbs & Under with 4 out of 5 homers. Tommy Lark won the Over 215 lbs division with 4 out of 5 homers. Each of the contest winners received a Worth EST bat.

A total of 35 teams participated in this year's Mid-Summer Classic: 11 teams in the C/D Division, 19 teams in the E Division, and 5 teams in the Women's Division.
